4 main shop technicians, 2 quick lube technicians
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Saturdays 8am-12pm; Currently Saturdays are light maintenance only, so the quick lube technicians rotate weekends
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Almost all tools for the quick lube rack; almost all manufacturer specific tools; the technician must provide all other tools
What type of break room facility is provided?
standard breakroom with refrigerator, microwave, pizza oven, toaster oven, sink, coffee pot, purified water machine
How many bays does your shop have?
9 in the main shop, 1 quick lube
How many repair orders do you average per month?
This is to be determined. Varies month to month
What is your parts ordering process?
Approval is provided to the parts department and they take care of the rest
What is your policy on side work?
You may work on your own vehicle or your family's vehicle when not on company time but must be during our business hours while others are present for safety purposes
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We have manufacturer required training, we encourage ASE certification and will reimburse the cost if you pass, we have sent technicians to school for ongoing educations and funded the education if they pass and continue working for us
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We encourage our employees to reach their full potential; we have had quick lube technicians continue schooling to become main shop technicians; detail employees transfer to a parts advisor, then a service advisor; we have had a service advisor become a service manager and many more
Can you describe your performance review process?
90 day review and annual performance reviews
What type of safety training is required?
We provide hazmat and forklift training
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Our senior techs will oversee the work the younger techs are performing and will also have the younger techs shadow the more complicated repairs the senior techs perform
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We are very big on donating to our local charities, youth sports, 4H; we are also involved with local schools and committees
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We are becoming more involved with shop tours, committees and getting our name into schools.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Not if a resume or application is submitted

Meet with the service manager, review application/resume and job requirements

Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00/year
Pay will be based on tech's background, certifications, and skill set. There is also production bonuses available

- Life Insurance and Voluntary Life Insurance: The $15,000 term life insurance is with Principal. Coverage will begin on the 1st of the month following 30 days. Klein pays 100% of the premium. If you want additional life insurance that is available and is a voluntary plan where you pay 100% of the premium.
