The Company is pleased to offer eligible employees the opportunity to enroll in a 401(k) Savings Plan. One of the best opportunities to save for your future is provided through salary deferred 401(k) contributions. 401(k) is a section of the tax code that allows employees to contribute a portion of their pay to a company-sponsored retirement plan. Since your contribution is not counted as taxable income, it reduces the amount of tax withheld from your paycheck. Another component of your plan is the discretionary employer matching contribution feature. This allows the Company to match a portion of your contribution. Additional details of this program are set forth in separate documents.
Sick Leave Offered
It is the Company’s policy that regular full-time employees will accrue five (5) hours of paid personal/sick time per full month of employment, not to exceed sixty (60) hours per full calendar year. Paid personal/sick time may be used in connection with absences from work due to legitimate personal or family injury, illness or business. (Personal/sick time includes pregnancy.) Employees on an approved leave of absence must exhaust all paid personal/sick time available before using any other paid leave or unpaid leave. Accrued personal/sick time may be taken as needed upon prior approval by your Manager, and must be requested through the Company’s HRIS system. Any time taken for personal matters during normal business hours, with the exception of one (1) hour lunch, must be previously approved by your Manager and applied against your personal/sick time accrued. Paid personal/sick time begins accruing with your first full month of employment, however, you must be employed for at least ninety (90) continuous calendar days to become eligible to use paid personal/sick time. Eligible employees will receive their regular hourly rate of pay for each hour of paid personal/sick time based on an eight (8) hour workday, forty (40) hour workweek, excluding overtime. You must personally contact your Manager before using accrued personal/sick time in order to receive personal/sick pay at that time. Paid personal/sick time may be carried forward into the following calendar year to a maximum of ninety (90) hours. Thus at no time will any employee have more than one hundred and fifty (150) accrued but unused personal/sick hours. Personal/sick time has no cash value upon termination of employment and will not be paid upon resignation of employment.
Vacation Offered
The Company’s policy is to grant annual paid vacations to regular full-time employees. Such vacations provide the rest and relaxation important for good health and efficiency. In keeping with this policy, employees are expected to take all vacation to which their length of continuous service entitles them. Vacation pay is not provided in lieu of taking vacation time except under extraordinary conditions and with advance approval from the Department Manager. Uncompensated time should not be taken prior to exhausting accrued vacation. The Company’s policy has been specifically designed to provide employees with the flexibility to take their vacation at whatever point in time is best for them and their family. While management will make every effort to give employees the vacation dates they desire, vacation schedules will be determined with due regard for the Company’s business and customer needs. In the event two or more employees in the same job classification desire the same vacation period, length of service will be the basis for the decision. Like the calendar year, the vacation year is January 1st to December 31st. The amount of vacation to which employees are entitled depends upon their length of service.

Short-term disability leave with pay may be granted to full-time employees who experience personal illness or injury for an extended continuous period of time, i.e., six (6) or more continuous business days absent from work. Short-term disability leave is not available for illness or injury in the immediate family.
