Both heated and cooled it's always sunny and 70 in the shop.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

One of the largest and highly skilled service teams in the region. 7 Advisors, 26 line techs, 1 Mobile tech, and 10 support staff.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

One shift only, Monday through Friday 8-5 with an 1hr. lunch break and each tech is required to work 1 Saturday per month 7:30 to 3:00 lunch is provided.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All necessary special service tools, diagnostic software, computers, shop-related equipment and each tech gets their own laptop. Hand tools and basics are the tech's responsibility.

What type of break room facility is provided?

A newly renovated space complete with a large screen tv, refrigerator, vending machines, plenty of seating and AC.

How many bays does your shop have?

24 car shop plus 1 alignment bay and 14 Truck shop bays.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1200-1400

What is your parts ordering process?

No need to waste time at the parts counter or asking for authorization. It's all done through our computer-based MPI estimating system, it's as simple as requesting price and availability the rest is handled by the parts dept. and Service Advisor.

What is your policy on side work?

Techs can perform side work for friends and family before or after hrs. with authorization from management.

Safety is paramount! Periodic reminders, bay, and lift inspections.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We offer a formal mentor program, you will be paired with a Senior Master Technician who is your hand-picked mentor. The training program includes hands-on, web-based, and offsite. Along with development checkpoints daily, weekly, and monthly progress reviews, and support.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Our organization is deeply involved in our community in many aspects.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Yes, we donate, cars and parts. We host events with speaking engagements, Q&A's, class trips, and tours of our facilities as well as giveaways and job fairs to educate up-and-coming technicians on the industry and technology.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

On occasion.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We will get to know you and explain in detail our department's daily operations and your potential role within our team. We'll ask what your goals and ambitions are and once onboard help get you there.

Yes

Yes, we do it's a simple multiple-choice questionnaire based on integrity and a few other variables.

In some cases, a job can be offered at the interview or same day but Typically 24-48 hrs.

Our process is quick and efficient but can be delayed by scheduling.

Automotive/ Diesel Technician. Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $150,000.00/year

Pay ranges from entry level to Senior Master.
