8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday) Some overtime available NO WEEKENDS!!!!
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide all major equipment, diagnostic tools, basic equipment, techs must provide their own hand tools
What type of break room facility is provided?
Small room where techs can go eat
How many bays does your shop have?
7 bays Plus 6 extra work areas
How many repair orders do you average per month?
1700 hours 145 cars a month
What is your parts ordering process?
Techs will diagnose the vehicle and give the parts order list to the advisor who will order the parts. Parts will be received as soon as possible to complete repairs
What is your policy on side work?
Techs can work on their own personal vehicles
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We offer and encourage continuous training. We offer ASE reimbursement upon test completion. We offer all NAPA trainings and O'Reilly training. We also participate in other vendor training when they become available
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Techs can achieve career growth through the different training opportunities we provide. We can help put techs on a career path to achieve their career goals
Can you describe your performance review process?
No formal reviews. We keep track of tech's labor hours and progress on jobs. If anything comes up, techs are always able to come to management
What type of safety training is required?
We do if we see a need for it
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Experienced technicians will work with more junior techs. They will be available to answer questions, and work side-by-side when time permits
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We will occasionally get involved with local events
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We will when we can. When opportunities come up, we are happy to help
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
We have been in business for over 50 years
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
We would rather do face-to-face interviews, but we will phone-screen applicants if it's more convenient for them
What do your in-person interviews entail?
The initial interview will be done by the General Manager, and then meeting some of the techs. Discussion includes past job experience, what they're comfortable with, what their strengths are, what their weaknesses are, where they live, and career path goals
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
No
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
No formal skill assessment. Skill assessment is done through the interview process
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
Usually the next day, if not that same day
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Entry Level Technician
Pay Range: $14.00 - $18.00/hour
Hourly paid position to technician who pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their work
General Technician
Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hour
Hourly paid position based on experience, background, certifications, and skill set
Transmission Technician
Pay Range: $18.00 - $27.00/hour
Hourly paid position based on experience, background, certifications, and skill set
