Let us know who you are by Getting In Touch on the left. Tell me, how did Courtesy Automotive get started? So San Francisco born, Edward J. Fitzgerald arrived in Phoenix during August, 1955, from Los Angeles, where he had worked with R. Mitchel McClure. Together they began Courtesy Chevrolet, an Arizona corporation, in an old farmhouse at 1521 East Camelback Road, which had a tiny shed out in the back, which was used as a make-shift garage and make ready vehicle area. Courtesy was then seen located on the outskirts of town. In those days, the Phoenix Arizona city limits were located at the Grand Canal, which passes a half-mile south of the dealership to this day. While the business was growing properties were being purchased a few blocks to the west, building plans were drawn, and eventually the building was begun. So by 1957, Courtesy Chevrolet moved down the street to the present facility at 1233 East Camelback Road, and since that time, has prospered. In late 1963 a second floor addition was added, and then in 1978 another building was completed to house RVs, which is where the Commercial Fleet Dept is today. In 1985 the Parts Dept was added removing the site where Mr. McClure's home and stable used to be. Then more property was added, and more buildings doubled our service bays. We have continued to expand in size, and in locations. And we are looking for Technicians who wish to grow with us. We are a proud, strong Auto Group that is grateful for our history and excited about our future!

We use the Multi Point system.

We offer fully paid GM training and apprentice opportunities.

We partner with first responders, Toys for Tots, police, service many local companies.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We currently work with ASEP and AAI and have had great success with their graduates.

You will meet with the hiring manager and discuss the position, background, certifications, and getting to know the candidate.

We perform background checks and drug screening before hiring an applicant.

We do not. Skills are discussed during the interview process.

We typically offer the job in the interview.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000/year

Flag rate, based on background, certifications, tenure

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $120,000/year

Flag rate, based on background, certifications, tenure

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $30,000 - $60,000/year

Very competitive hourly first, flag rate after 90 days

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,000/year

Commission paid off revenue

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $50,000/hour

Commission based while learning, flag your own hours

Collision Technician - A Level Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000/year

Collision Technician - B Level Pay Range: $50,000 - $75,000/year

Collision Painter Pay Range: $75,000 - $120,000/year

Collision Prepper Pay Range: $25,000 - $50,000/year
