We have a 9-member service team

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday) NO WEEKENDS!!!!

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide all specialty tools, major equipment, and some hand tools, technicians will have to provide their own set of tools as well

What type of break room facility is provided?

No set break room. Technicians will eat in their bays, or they go out to lunch a lot as well

How many repair orders do you average per month?

What is your parts ordering process?

Service writer takes care of ordering parts. We will receive the parts as soon as possible for technicians to complete their repairs

What is your policy on side work?

Technicians will be eligible for side work after a certain time period

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We use mostly Hunter and Snap On tools and equipment

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We are big supporters of our team, and technician growth. We will support any training, when available, and pay for the trainings

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Through trainings that periodically pop up, and on-the-job learning, we help support our techs to achieve their career goals

Can you describe your performance review process?

No formal review process. This will be coming in the future

What type of safety training is required?

No formal safety training. Again, this is something we're looking into in the future

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Experienced technicians will help more junior technicians when time permits. This includes side-by-side work, and being available for questions

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We're looking to get more involved in the future

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

This is something we're looking to get more involved in, and support, in the future

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We're constantly looking to grow. To achieve this, we're changing how we do things internally, and making sure we have the right team around us

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Online application, that takes a couple of minutes to complete

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We will do a light phone screen if needed to gage the interest level of the candidate

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Interview is done by the owner. Discussion includes work history, career goals, getting to know the candidate and family talk. We also discuss how we can fit their needs

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Only if necessary, there will be a driving record check

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No formal skill assessment, this could be coming in the future

B Level Technician Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hour

Hourly paid position, with the option to be moved into flat-rate when comfortable, pay based on background, certifications, and skill set

C Level Technician Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00/hour

Service Advisor Pay Range: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00/year

Base pay + Commission

Student Tech / Apprentice Pay Range: $12.00 - $14.00/hour

Hourly pay

Lube Technician Pay Range: $13.00 - $16.00/year
