Mon-Friday 8am-5pm. Saturday 8am-4pm. All same shift
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Standard Shop tools required by Audi of America.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Lunch room upstairs with tables, vending machine, TV and microwave.
How many bays does your shop have?

How many repair orders do you average per month?
1500.00 a month
What is your parts ordering process?
Through the DMS depending on stock levels. Orders can be overnight or 3-4 days depending on where the part is coming from. Backordered parts need to be escalated by Parts manager.
What is your policy on side work?
After hours on an RO with Service Director approval. No side work on Audi vehicles, those must go through shop workflow.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We have a monthly store meeting that recognizes top performers in Service, Technician, Sales and Parts which include trophies and Employee of the Month recognitions. Savory snacks are provided at the meeting as well to celebrate.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We encourage our hourly technicians and entry-level techs to become trained within the Audi training system through Fast Track and or the AEP program if coming from a technical school as a graduate.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Fast Track allows an hourly employee to understand the basics of the job and to progress towards flat-rate. the AEP program is an 8-week program that accelerates you to B-level Expert status after all 8 weeks are completed.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance review goes according to completion of training requirements, tenure in the industry, and productivity. These all contribute to higher levels and pay increases.
What type of safety training is required?
OSHA training
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
The younger techs are usually paired with a Master level tech or B and he works side by side with. The higher-level tech usually benefits from the additional hours the helper produces as compensation. However, the goal is to encourage the helper, younger tech to get themselves in a position where they are flagging and getting closer to flat-rate.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
Not much, we participate with certain charities through sales.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We do not have any partnerships with local schools or tech schools that I have had the opportunity to build.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Discussions about interests, goals, and experiences. Putting the applicant through a thinking process of what they can experience and what their prior experiences would make them a good fit.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes, we perform background checks and drug screening before hiring. Candidate must pass both to be considered.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
Yes, we do. We will send them an AVA assessment which is a personality test to see how the applicant will perform with on-the-job situations.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
2 weeks.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
2-3 weeks sometimes sooner depending on the completion of the steps by the applicant.
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?
MUST have a clean driving record and license for hire.
Service Technician
Pay Range: $22.00 - $42.00/hour
Competitive pay plans across all levels with strong Bonus tiers when hitting certain hour goals. Pay will be based on background, certifications, and skill set
