19 Technicians. 2 Apprentice Technicians. 2 Main shop advisors. 2 Quicklane/Internal advisors.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
M - F 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Tech Shifts: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM S 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Saturdays on rotations with 8 hr. guarantee.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
All Ford specialty tools including laptop and software. Technicians are expected to have their own hand tools and too box.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Break room with fridge, microwave, filtered water and big screen TV. It is heated and air conditioned.

What is your parts ordering process?
Techs use Ford SMARTT system. Advisors and techs are notified when parts are ready.
What is your policy on side work?
We do not allow side work to be done on site as it is an insurance issue.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
This team gets along very well and is very productive with no drama and there are multiple monthly lunches, as well as monthly recognition for team members. All summer there is Gatorade for all service personnel provide by the store. The team will go out after closing to enjoy a few adult beverages.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Shop pays for completed and passed ASEs. Shop pays for MFG training both on site and off premise including : Travel, Lodging, Food, and time at class.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Our mission statement is Growth Powered By People! How far you go depends on you and your drive. We have had many techs become service managers and service managers become fixed operations directors and even general managers!
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance Reviews are each done at service manager's discretion.
What type of safety training is required?
Monthly safety meetings. On-line safety training at hire. Safety committee on site.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Our senior technicians are afforded the opportunity to mentor new and upcoming techs.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
All Lithia stores are very involved in community events. Lithia Motors Inc. has great national community involvement including Lithia 4 Kids.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Our local stores and national recruiters are very involved with local High School vocational programs . Lithia Motors Inc. is a preferred employer at all national vocational schools.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Applicants are phone screened by a recruiter and then an in person or phone interview is scheduled with the service manager.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
One on one question and answer with the service manager and shop foreman if available.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Assessments may be conducted prior to offer. Background, MVR and Drug Screens are conducted after offer and with hire being contingent to outcome.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
There are some assessments that are performed on line.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
We try to keep in contact with our candidates and a rejection or offer is usually made within a week.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Depending on the number of applicants it usually takes less than a week.
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $140,000.00/year
Flat Rate ASE Certified Experienced Technician with PA State Inspection License.
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00/year
Flat Rate Technician with some experience, good knowledge of undercar systems and minor repairs with PA State Inspection License.
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00/year
Flat Rate Experienced Technician working towards certifications with PA State Inspection License.
