What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday) Floating Saturday shifts (with a day off during the week)

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide all major tools and diagnostic equipment. Techs will have to provide their own handtools, but we do offer up to $2,000 of tool reimbursement for students

What type of break room facility is provided?

Fridge, table, chairs, microwave, toaster, vending

How many bays does your shop have?

10 Working Bays 1 Alignment Rack

How many repair orders do you average per month?

800

What is your parts ordering process?

Techs will order the parts and send parts order to the parts department. Parts will be received as soon as possible for techs to complete repairs

What is your policy on side work?

Employees can work on their own vehicles, or immediate family vehicles

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Friendly environment. Lunch is provided every Saturday. You are given work boots once per year.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Audi provides our AEP program for all graduates to help jump-start their career. We also provide our own CRC program, all of which is paid for by the dealership

Can you describe your performance review process?

We provide annual reviews. Review discussion includes production, goals, the good and the bad, attitude, attendance, and trainings

What type of safety training is required?

KPA monthly trainings, and online trainings

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our senior technicians will be available to answer questions for our more junior staff. They will also be available to help through repairs when needed.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We work with Angels Outreach and sponsor local sports teams.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We hold job fairs here and go to the tech schools to speak with potential employees.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, we do a basic screening process to gauge the candidate's interest level. Candidates will have to have a phone screen before moving on to our in-person interview

What do your in-person interviews entail?

In-person interviews are done by our manager. Discussion includes the techs background, skills set, certifications, likes/dislikes, and career goals

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Background, drug, driver's license

No formal skill assessment. Assessment is done through the interview process

Flat-Rate Technician Pay Range: $22.00 - $40.00/hour

Pay will be dependent on technicians skill set and certifications
