What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Monday thru Friday 7:00-6:00 Saturday 8:00-4:00 Closed Sundays Work Shift 7:00 - 4:00 Every 6th Saturday with a day off during the week on your scheduled Saturday. Flexible shift available

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

OEM special tools and equipment

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a nice break room with two refrigerators/freezers and microwaves. We also have filtered water in the shop and high line coffee machine.

How many bays does your shop have?

18 Bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

750

What is your parts ordering process?

We stock most OEM parts and can have parts the next day in a lot of cases. Some special-order parts can be here in 3-5 days.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work is allowed. Technicians can work on their vehicle after their shift is over provided, we have an open repair order on the vehicle for insurance purposes.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Very nice clean and organized service department with a great atmosphere. All equipment is brand new. We provide built in toolboxes and work benches along with built in storage cabinets. Our work environment is characterized by a highly motivated and positive atmosphere. We emphasize open communication and collaboration, ensuring that ever team member feels heard and valued.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer paid manufacture training. We work with you to learn X Time inspection and video usage. We will train you to become an Audi Master technician.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We have individuals who have started as porters and moved up to apprentice technicians. You can also move into a service advisor position. We have other locations also to advance your career

Can you describe your performance review process?

We have an initial 60-day review as well as annual reviews. Service manager does the review and goes over the positive things the employee is doing and any needs for improvement.

What type of safety training is required?

Safety training consists of online training and a follow up test.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We assign all apprentice technicians with a journeyman technician for at least a year.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Toys for Tots toy collection and a European car show.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We attend job fairs at the local technical schools.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, we screen applications and resumes to check employment history, experience etc.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Background of your employment history and any technical training you have attended and your hobbies and interests. One on one question and answer with the service manager and shop foreman if available.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We complete background checks

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

We do not perform a skill assessment. Skill assessment is done through the interview process

Within a week.

Usually takes1- 2 weeks.

I look for an energetic person and someone who gets along with his coworkers.

Service Technician Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $140,000.00/year ($28.85 - $67.31/hr)

Apprentice technicians are hourly and journeyman are flat rate plus bonus and incentives. Pay will be based on background, certifications, and skill set
