Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
We have two shops both are climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable environment year-round with both heating and air conditioning.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
You’d be working with a diverse and dedicated team consisting of approximately 25 technicians, 6 service writers, 5 parts specialists, 4 parts runners, 1 shop dispatcher, 1 quality control driver, and 1 shop foreman.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Our shop hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Technicians work on an early and late shift rotation Monday through Friday, and are scheduled to work every 5th Saturday.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide all necessary Audi specialty tools for technicians to use, ensuring they have everything needed to perform their work to the highest standards.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Our break room was recently renovated to provide a comfortable and relaxing space for lunch. It includes a fridge, two microwaves, and a welcoming atmosphere to recharge during your break.
How many bays does your shop have?
Our shop features 30 bays with in-ground lifts, including 4 dedicated electric vehicle bays and two alignment machines to accommodate a wide range of services.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We typically handle an average of 1,750 repair orders per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
Our parts ordering process is efficient and streamlined. When a technician completes a repair order, it is electronically sent to the parts department, where they handle the ordering. If the parts are in stock, they are delivered directly to the technician's bay, allowing them to stay focused on their work without interruption.
What is your policy on side work?
We allow technicians to work on their own vehicles with management approval after work hours. We do not allow working on side jobs on dealership property.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We provide a variety of skills training and continuing education opportunities. This includes access to comprehensive training programs, certification exams, and valuable study resources. Additionally, we offer paid factory training sessions and opportunities for cross-training across various departments within the dealership, helping you broaden your skill set and advance your career."

Performance reviews are conducted by our Service Director and Shop Foreman, focusing on identifying training needs, assessing technician efficiency, and supporting ongoing professional growth. These reviews are designed to provide valuable feedback that helps enhance skills and ensure continuous improvement.
What type of safety training is required?
We require annual KPA safety training for all employees, ensuring that everyone stays up-to-date on best practices. Additionally, we conduct quarterly safety inspections, carried out by a certified compliance provider, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We have a mentorship program in place where seasoned technicians provide guidance and support to newer team members. Additionally, we offer opportunities for technicians to shadow roles they're interested in, allowing them to gain valuable hands-on experience and insight directly from experienced professionals.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We have a relationship and sit on the Automotive board for Clark County School district. We participate in training and mentoring programs for our local high school level automotive programs. We also work closely with the F.I.T. program that has an automotive training program that includes in dealership job shadowing and mentoring.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Yes, we conduct a brief phone interview to clarify and expand on the information provided in the application and resume before moving forward with in-person interviews.

Our in-person interviews involve a meeting with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman to assess whether the candidate is a good fit for both our store and our company culture. We place a strong emphasis on finding the right match, as it is essential to ensure a positive fit for both our team and our clients.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes, we conduct a thorough background check, drug screening, and review of DMV history before making a hire. We are committed to ensuring that we bring on only the highest-quality candidates.

We do not perform a skill assessment at this time.

Typically, you can expect to hear back within a few days regarding whether you'll be joining our team.

Depending on the number of applicants, the full hiring process typically takes between one to two weeks from submitting the application to the final hiring decision.
Service Technician
Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $120,000.00/year
We work on flat rate hour system with bonus' varied on performance

- Employees who meet the minimum age requirement of at least 18 years old may be eligible to participate in the Dealership’s 401(k) plan on the first day of the month after completing a 90-day wait period. Once eligible, employees may update their contribution or begin/stop enrollment each month

- Vacation is given, team members get 40 hours of Nevada PTO that starts after 90 day probation period. In the next 2 years an additional 80 hours will be accumulated and an additional 40 hours after 7 years of employment.
