The shop hours are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, the shop is open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for maintenance only, and it is closed on Sundays. The shift time frames are open and flexible, with an option for four 10-hour shifts.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
The shop provides in-house toolboxes for all technicians, but you need to bring your own tools. Additionally, the shop offers specialty tools provided by the manufacturer, scan tools, equipment, an alignment rack, and general shop equipment.
What type of break room facility is provided?
The shop provides a full lunchroom with vending machines for break time, and it's conveniently located near fast food options and restaurants.
How many bays does your shop have?
The shop has 26 bays + mobile service vans.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
There are on average 500-600 repair orders per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
The parts ordering process involves placing daily orders from the manufacturer and other sites, and a software system that is used to facilitate communication between the parts department, advisors, and technicians.
What is your policy on side work?
POLICY ON THE USE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FACILITIES FOR NON-WORK VEHICLES Service facilities are intended primarily for use by employees in conjunction with business purposes. However, the facilities may only be used for the purpose of working on non-work vehicles if management approval is obtained prior to any work being performed. Approval must be obtained by a Service Manager and only a Certified Technician is allowed to perform work. If approval is obtained, work must be performed in compliance with the rules and conditions listed below: ⢠Work can be performed on Saturdays between the hours of 7:00am and 3:00pm. ⢠Must have an opened R.O. on the vehicle. ⢠Employee's or immediate family member's vehicles only. ⢠Only employees are permitted in the shop. ⢠All shop supplies must be paid for by the employee and included on the R.O. ⢠Must have parts invoices or parts must be added to R.O.
