The shop is not heated or air conditioned but we have many shop fans going at all times to help with air flow.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Accurate Roadside has a team of 16 employees.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The shop hours are 7-4 with varying shifts. We can accommodate most schedules.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide all tools, including 1 inch and up. We provide scanners, jacks, and jack stands.

What type of break room facility is provided?

The shop does not have a break room but the office is located on the same property with a full-size refrigerator, air conditioning, and seating.

How many bays does your shop have?

The shop has three bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We do many repairs a month, averaging 600 per month

What is your parts ordering process?

The techs order what they need from the parts vendors that we have accounts with.

What is your policy on side work?

We do not have a side work policy

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We are willing to provide continuing education on an as-needed basis and are willing to reimburse employees who elect to do any type of extra skills training.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

There are opportunities for growth, while we are mainly looking for shop technicians an employee who shows great leadership skills is always a potential for management.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Our employees are reviewed on a yearly basis based on their performance. We offer a very friendly environment where employees feel free to voice their opinions and are open to review.

What type of safety training is required?

Accurate Roadside does basic safety training during the hiring process with classes throughout the year on specific safety issues.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

When a younger tech has any issues, he or she is always welcome to reach out to the shop manager who has thirty + years of experience or any experienced tech they feel comfortable working with.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are active in the local community by sponsoring kids who reach out to us, donate to charity events, and support the local 4H chapters.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We currently do not but we are interested in working with local tech schools.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

It is not mandatory, but we typically speak with the technician on the phone to get an idea of what their skill level is.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

The technician will come and interview at our shop with the shop manager. After the interview, we will review their qualifications and determine if they are a good fit for our team.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We perform pre-hire drug screening.

The technician will have an answer typically within 2 business days.

Mobile PM Technician Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
