Body Shop Manager
Location: 1095 50th St E, Inver Grove Heights (right off 494 and hwy 62)
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Manager to join our team, as the person holding this role has been promoted to General Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our body shop, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate Preparation: Partner with our in-house estimator to ensure accurate job estimates based on customer needs and vehicle condition
- Job Management: Oversee the repair process from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Invoice Management: Build and close out invoices, ensuring all charges are accurately documented and communicated to customers.
- Insurance Negotiation: Negotiate rates with insurance companies to ensure fair compensation for repair work.
- Repair Process Management: Manage the entire repair process, coordinating with technicians and ensuring timely completion of all repairs.
- Customer Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process.
- Quality Control: Ensure all repairs meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of all work performed and interactions with customers and insurance companies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in body shop management or similar role
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly with insurance companies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
