B Level Technician

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician at Beaverhead Motorsports!


Are you a motivated individual with a passion for automotive machinery and maintenance? We are on the lookout for enthusiastic automotive technicians eager to expand their career, both financially and professionally, within a customer-centric and supportive work environment. The Maintenance Technician role serves as an entry-level opportunity, where you'll play a crucial part in a dynamic team dedicated to servicing vehicles. Compensation ranges from $14 to $20 per hour, based on your experience (DOE).



Responsibilities:

  • Precisely assemble new motorsports inventory following manufacturer specifications

  • Skillfully troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and related issues on machinery and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient repairs

  • Establish and execute a well-defined preventive maintenance schedule for a limited set of equipment in our facility

  • Conduct timely maintenance on our facility and perform minor repairs, contributing to a clean and safe workspace

  • Disassemble and replace faulty machines and equipment with new or repaired units

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs

  • Collaborate on and provide recommendations for work-related contracts and services

  • Supervise external contractors when necessary for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance

  • Actively participate in and uphold health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives and requirements


Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

  • 1-3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment

  • A college degree or certificate in a technical or related field

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings

  • Familiarity with basic measuring instruments like tape measures, scales, and gauges

  • Physically capable of standing, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting objects up to 40 lbs

  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and basic math

  • Basic computer skills for data entry

  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, side-loaders, 4-directional lifts, or cherry pickers
