Earthborne Trucks and Equipment has proudly served Warrington, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas for over 49 years. Over time, we’ve become a sales, service and trucking go-to. We provide our customers with an extensive line of construction, forestry, snow removal, and landscaping equipment in counties throughout Pennsylvania. We also serve surrounding communities with our 24-hour towing and hauling services. Our new facility in Warrington includes a state-of-the-art service department, an expansive equipment showroom, and a well-stocked parts counter, serving customers with all makes and models of heavy equipment and heavy-duty trucks alike.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis of vehicles for repair
    • Work with technicians to develop a plan for the repair
    • Review the initial diagnosis to ensure the first time fix
    • Assist in execution of the plan
    • Coach and mentor the team during the repair process
  • Create schedule for the technician team
    • Work with service team to set up daily schedule and monitor the daily workflow
    • Assign work based on individual strengths & capabilities
    • Assess the jobs and develop timelines for the repair
  • Monitor the workflow process daily
    • Assist with parts look up and approve parts for jobs
    • Monitor labor times on jobs
    • Assist technicians as needed on repairs
    • Enforce safety regulations and protocols on the floor
  • Communicate with the service team about the status of the repairs
    • Review job progress and communicate with management and service advisors
    • Monitor quoted values (hours for repair and total cost) versus actual
    • Update work order with current status of repair
    • Ensures all paperwork is correctly filled out and turned into the manager(state insp, DOT, etc.)
    • Suggest training ideas or class to the management team for the service team or an individual
    • Communicate any/all ideas for new tools and technology that could benefit the team
  • Complete quality checks
    • Ensure that all issues have been addressed properly
    • Verify the repair has been completed and tested before returning to the customer
    • Test drive the vehicle

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years in a Truck Shop or Dealership
  • ASE Certified
  • Experience with Cummins, Detroit, Allison, Eaton, and  Mercedes
  • Management and Leadership experience in a repair shop
  • Great organizational skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Computer Aptitude
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Valid driver’s license w/ CDL endorsement
