Equipment Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead personnel through holding accountable, career development, coaching, teaching, training, mentoring, and reviews.
- Managing Maintenance Staff
- Coordinate/Manage Expectations for all aspects of maintenance between field and mechanics.
- Assist mechanics with ordering/procuring parts from Vendors.
- Use Equipment hours Vision Link, JD Link, etc. to Update/Manage Service Intervals.
- Manage Vendor Base within purview.
- Obtain quotes from new equipment purchases and present information to Management.
- Improve, Refine & Communicate Processes to Limit Waste (LEAN)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assisting/Fill-In for Mechanics on Maintenance, as required.
- Review Time Entries for the maintenance personnel.
- Liaison between mechanics and Vendors.
- Ensure mechanics keep the shop area clean/organized (i.e. 5s).
- Labeling any equipment as it relates to:
- Company decals
- Unit #’s
- QR Codes
- Binders
- Update/Maintain Equipment Greasing Report and publishing to field crews.
- Update/Maintain Equipment damage reporting.
- Updating registrations, license plates and insurance cards, as needed.
- Maintenance Projects
