Position Overview: We are seeking a Level A Technician - Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a focus on medium and heavy-duty trucks. This role will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring our fleet meets regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems in medium and heavy-duty trucks. Chevy, Ford, and Dodge
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in diesel engine technology.
