Hiring Quality Control Mechanic to support quality team in truck inspections before customer delivery.

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is Quality Control Technician with background in aerial, construction equipment, and heavy & light duty trucks. You will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet the organizations standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

• Monday - Friday, Day Shift, 5am - 3:30pm (currently 10-hour shifts)

Essential Duties and Skills:

• General mechanical aptitude and experience with parts required. Knowledge of hydraulic, heavy equipment, diesel truck and/or farm equipment preferred.
• Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.
• Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
• Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections and dielectric testing, and other tests on units as necessary to ensure quality and performance on the finished product.
• Record data from test procedures and inspections
• Able to troubleshoot and repair warranty issues pertaining to the unit.
• Document and report quality assurance issues
• Assure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and industry requirements.
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Prepare unit for delivery to customer. 
• Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with the company’s safety, quality procedures and policies.
• General aptitude in working with common computer software (MS Office Suite, internet, etc.) to process orders. Knowledge of inventory software to process purchase orders and tracking inventory helpful.
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.

Qualifications:

• Experienced with Utility Truck Operation, Preventive Maintenance, basic repair.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• VoTech / Military Wheeled Mechanic / OJT or related training desired
• Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
