Emergency Vehicle Technician
We specialize in emergency vehicles but work on standard diesel and gas! This job will include diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fire trucks and emergency vehicles along with the opportunity to work on light, medium, heavy, and specialty equipment in the shop and at Fire Stations. If you are looking for something that is different every day, this is the team you want to join. Our work can be anything from fire pump rebuilds to internal motor work.
- We are hiring for multiple positions.
- Work schedule is full time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with possible over time when necessary.
- Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4+ Years of professional mechanical experience
- Diesel and gas experience
- ASE/EVT certifications or the willingness to obtain them
- Ongoing training is required and provided
- Be familiar with service software and scan tools
- Good driving record
- CDL or willingness to obtain is preferable but not required
- Must be self-motivated and have a desire to work
- Enjoy working on something different every day
- Having an eye for detail is a must
- Background in firefighting is a plus but not required
- Pass background check/drug testing
- Responsibilities:
- Accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
- Maintain a low comeback %
- Use factory specifications to ensure repairs meet standards
- Demonstrate good time management skills
