B Level Technician

McCurley Auto Dealerships is looking for motivated Automotive Technicians to join our team. Serving the greater Pasco area for over 40 years, we have become a staple in our community when it comes to servicing and vehicle repair needs. Responsibilities:

We work on all makes and models, and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy 
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner 
  • Communication with Owner (who serves as Service Writer, Mechanic, and Support to Techs) 
  • Road test vehicles when required, demonstrate extreme care around high end vehicles. 
  • Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean 
  • Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate 
  • Reports machine defects and malfunctions 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry, leverage key resources like Mitchell/ProDemand and Identifix to assist with repairs 
  • Ensure that workspace is kept clean and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly 
  • Contribute as needed to support the needs of a fast moving, small business (support of shop priorities, colleagues, customers, etc.)

Qualifications: 

Successful candidates for the Automotive Technician position will have: 

  • Experience as an automotive technician 
  • ASE/Manufacturer Certifications (Preferred) 
  • Diagnostic ability 
  • Troubleshooting skills 
  • Commitment to quality 
  • Team player/Reliable schedule 
  • Good verbal and written skills -Basic computer knowledge 
  • Personal set of tools (though shop contributes specialty tools, etc.) 
  • Valid/Clean driver’s license
