In Shop Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines for trucks and on-highway vehicles. Our ideal candidate is careful with cleanliness, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel engines in trucks and on-highway vehicles.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations.
- Diagnose failures, identify corrective actions, and implement solutions effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Diesel Mechanic, specifically with trucks and on-highway vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and troubleshooting processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset.
- High level of cleanliness in both personal habits and workspaces.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a shop with TMC (Technology & Maintenance Council) standards.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and procedures.
- Experience in road service.
- Own tools required to perform necessary repairs.
