Lube Express Manager

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for automotive maintenance? If you have a background in automotive service and strong leadership qualities, we invite you to join our team as an Express Lube Team Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of express lube technicians who specialize in oil changes, tire rotations, and light maintenance tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance needs

  • Communicate additional work requirements to service consultants

  • Perform lubrication tasks, including servicing grease fittings, universal joints, and steering knuckles using hand or air-powered grease guns

  • Inspect and maintain fluid levels in various vehicle components, such as steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles

  • Check and adjust tire air pressure

  • Apply specified lubricants to moving parts

  • Drain and refill crankcase oil as required

  • Refill radiator and battery with the necessary fluids

  • Replace oil and air filters

  • Balance and rotate tires

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any additional repair needs

  • Demonstrate behavior in line with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and suppliers

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

  • Follow established safety procedures to minimize exposure to fumes, dirt, and chemicals

  • Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing the customer's perspective

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and assist in identifying, confirming, and resolving customer concerns

  • Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs


Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of automotive service experience is required

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills

  • Possession of a valid U.S. Driver's license

  • Effective communication skills for clear interactions with team members and customers

  • Proficient time management skills, including managing one's own time and the time of others

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Demonstrated personal and professional integrity
