Level A - Automotive Technician
We are currently seeking a Level A Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team. You will perform maintenance & repair services, digital inspections, minor & major diagnostics and perform vehicle repairs as required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostics of automotive repairs needed, assess the problem, provide solutions and repair vehicles
- In-depth diagnostics and repairs including engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brakes, electrical, electrical systems (newer models), air conditioning, heating, engine cooling system, auxiliary, etc.
- Perform routine service inspections and complete services such as oil change, fluid flush, brake service, tire service, wheel alignment and tune-up when needed
- Inspect and test drive vehicles before and after repair
- Work in a team environment with colleagues
- State inspection license (or eligible to become a vehicle state inspector)
- High-level automotive repair and diagnostics including service, repair and/or replacement of (alignment, brakes, belts, battery, air conditioning, heating, steering, suspension, drive train, oil leak, engine, transmission, electrical, cluster, headliner, dashboard removal and installation, auxiliary, etc.)
- Effectively communicate to customer current vehicle status and vehicle repair advise
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-years of previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
- Knowledge of automotive service and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Deadline and detail-oriented
