About the Role:

As a Service Manager, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire our service team to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
  • Oversee all service department operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
  • Drive departmental profitability while maintaining high-quality standards in repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, warranties, and safety standards.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure department performance, including productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support dealership goals and initiatives.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and a focus on resolution.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in automotive service management, preferably in a dealership environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with service workflows, warranty, and repair order processes.
  • Certifications: ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred. Toyota or Lexus experience is a strong plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians, advisors, and support staff.
  • Customer Service Focus: Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, track profitability, and control expenses effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in resolving operational challenges and customer concerns.
  • Technology Skills: Familiarity with dealership management software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, and manufacturers.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
