Master VW & Audi Mechanic – OR Training Available for the Right Candidate

Location: Jones County, GA

Are you a fully-trained VW or Audi mechanic looking for a place where your expertise is valued? Or are you an aspiring mechanic with a passion for these iconic brands, eager to learn from the best? Wolfsburg Tech, a busy independent shop in Jones County, GA, is searching for a dedicated master mechanic to join our team. While we prefer a seasoned professional, we’re also willing to train someone who’s quick to learn and truly loves working on Volkswagens and Audis.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master Mechanic: Ideally, you're fully trained with hands-on experience with VW and Audi vehicles.
• Willing to Train: If you’re passionate and a quick learner, we’re ready to invest in your growth.
• Love for VWs and Audis: A deep passion for these vehicles is essential.
• Strong Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a busy, engaging environment.

Requirements:

• No Tobacco Users: We maintain a tobacco-free work environment.
• Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential.
• Dependable Transportation: Reliable transportation to get to work on time.
• Own Tools: Must have your own set of mechanic tools.
• Knowledgeable: Able to identify car parts and tools by their correct names.
• Communication Skills: Must read, write, and speak English well.
• Manual Transmission: Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in (occasionally) physically demanding conditions.
• Punctuality: Must consistently arrive at work on time.
• Drug & Background Test: Able to pass a drug test and background check
• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with basic Windows operations like copy, paste, save, and print.

Desired Skills:

• Touch Typist: Ability to quickly create repair orders after repairs.
• Experience: Previous experience as a VW or Audi mechanic.
• Diagnostic Tools: Familiarity with VCDS or VAG-Com, ElsaWin, ODIS.
• Parts Systems: Experience with ETKA or Partslink.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Windows and Microsoft products.
