Diesel Technician Class B
```Duties```
Experienced Diesel technician with knowledge of current emissions systems and ability to troubleshoot customer complaints independently. Experienced and proficient using Cummins, Detroit, Cat, Eaton, and Allison software is a must. Experience with all current diesel systems including EGR, DPF, SCR, DEF is preferred. Experience in electrical systems and familiar with CAN Bus and multiplexed data networks is preferred.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
- Communicate with service and other team members to coordinate vehicle completion schedules
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as service orders, PM checklists, and inspection reports
```Experience```
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as cranes or forklifts
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent driving record with no accidents or traffic violations preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow directions accurately
