Automotive Service Advisor
MUST HAVE PRIOR AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR EXPERIENCE WITH PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS!!
Description of the role:
The Service Advisor at Friendly Acura of Middletown will be responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and the service department. They will provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the service department.
Strong hours per RO, gross profit per RO and exceptional CSI scores are all required!
Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment!
Strong phone and computer skills required along with the ability to adapt to newer technologies such as AI!
Responsibilities:
- Help clients with their Service needs, writing up their vehicles, keeping clients informed and managing that relationship, providing all aspects of a traditional Service Advisor role.
- Ensure that work is being dispatched properly, and to the benefit of our client’s experience, while ensuring that our team of Techs are all benefiting and growing from the opportunities available.
- Oversee that work is completed properly.
- Ensure that customer cars are fully evaluated by our technicians.
- Consult with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
- Sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
- Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings and the advantages of trading in versus fixing their car.
- Follow the status of the customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work.
- Act as a liaison between customers and our technicians.
- Upon completion of work, review work order with customer to assure all concerns are addressed.
- Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Process Warranty Claims.
- Monitor open RO's daily and close RO's in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
