CDJR Automotive Technician
Lum's Auto Center, Inc. is hiring a skilled CDJR Automotive Technician in Warrenton, Oregon, specializing in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. We are seeking qualified candidates who will leverage their expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to provide top-notch service, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
CDJR Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in CDJR vehicles.
- Perform routine services, such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and scheduled maintenance.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues and perform accurate repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with CDJR manufacturer warranty guidelines and standards.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
- Stay informed of new CDJR vehicle models, service bulletins, and repair procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of repairs and service performed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Test drive all vehicles to verify repairs are effective and meet quality standards.

Pay: Starts at $40 flat rate, depending on qualifications. Dealership will consider paying relocation expenses and initial daily travel expenses (during relocation period) for the right candidate.

Qualifications
- ASE certification or equivalent desired.
- Prior experience working on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
- Be able to provide documentation showing current CDJR qualification levels.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools, including CDJR-specific systems.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively
- Must be willing to stay current with training and certifications.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
- Must provide your own tools
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
