Audi Albany - Technician Jobs in Latham, NY

• Performs all warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance and repair work as directed by management

• Installs accessories and performs new vehicle pre-delivery inspections and prep work

• Test drives vehicles when necessary to verify/diagnose customer complaints

• Advises Service Advisor, Dispatcher, and/or Manager if additional work is needed

• Maintains a current knowledge of vehicles and their service needs as described in manuals, technical bulletins, and training programs

• Participates in factory-sponsored programs and training
• Able to stand and walk at least 8 hours per day
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance

• Other duties as assigned – duties are subject to change at any time based on business needs

Preferred Experience:

• At least (2) years of previous experience as an automotive service technician

• Basic knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems, and testing tools

• Skill in diagnosing and repairing all key vehicle components and systems

• Knowledge of proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and using equipment and tools

• Ability to read and interpret repair orders

• Basic writing skills to record work performed and recommend future services on repair orders

• Valid driver’s license which meets insurability standards
