Top Shop Challenge: Over the years, technicians have had some consistent complaints about the industry. WrenchWay is seeing more and more shops proactively address these issues and come up with solutions. What is one area where your shop has solved a common technician career complaint?
Over my 30+ years as a service manager I have found that pay and benefits are not always the most important aspect for technicians. They want to be acknowledged for the job they do and know that they work for a company that values them as an individual. Though pay and benefits are important, time off with their family is very important. Seeing that they have a path of continual growth is important. The Tom Wood group has always been tops when it comes to showing their employees they care.

After a 4 year hiatus, Pacific BMW partnered up with Risk Strategies Insurance brokers to bring the sports-themed Health Fair back to the dealership. We had over 20 vendors exhibit their products and services, the Kaiser Health Mobile truck checking employees' blood pressure, glucose levels and BMI's for free and free mini massages. All attendees were automatically entered into the raffle and here is the list of employee the winners:
