Steve is our newest advisor. He came to us from Mercedes where he started as a tech and transitioned to Service Advisor where he’s spent most of his career. He started to make an impact immediately. He brought new ideas with him and has worked hard to understand our processes. He has shown incredible care with our clients and has become a trusted teammate.

We'd like to highlight one of our amazing service advisors, Nichole! Nichole had changed career paths. She came to us from a large eatery/bar in downtown Green Bay. She was working as the lead server, and in the event staff and needed a change. She started with us in our Quick Lane, December of 2020. Right off the bat she had the drive to learn and perform to the best of her abilities. She was setting records in the Quick Lane within months. In less than a year she was promoted to her current role, Ford Service Advisor. Since taking over a year and a half ago Nichole now runs a 5 technician team and is consistently the top performer. We're extremely proud of her and we're excited to see where she goes from here! Keep up the hard work Nichole!

The first Wednesday of each month we have our shop meeting, to talk about last months wins and ideas for getting even better. Everyone has a voice and we also get a great lunch together as we shut down the shop for an hour and 20 minuets. Do you feel like part of the "A" team ?Like you have a say where you are? Here you matter. By the way the empty seats are there for our teams growth and the guys and gals were going to welcome to our team to break bread together.

This month we wanted to give an extra shout to one of our top advisors that recently received the added title of Assistant Manager. Irving Porras has been with us at Carr for the last 5 years and has a total of 17 years in the automotive industry. Having originally been from California, Irving received a Degree in Automotive Diagnosis from WyoTech in Freemont, CA. When he’s not at his busy desk, He volunteers for the PTA as well as coaching his daughters K-1st soccer team. He’s also a sport fanatic and is a diehard San Francisco fan. Although with his time spent here, he’s grown a passion for our local Portland Timbers and Portland Trail Blazers. We are proud to have Irving as part of the Carr Auto Family.

Last week we had a camping trip at lunch time. Mitch was nice enough to cook some hot dogs over heat guns, and of course using Snap On Screwdrivers as Sticks.
