What is your parts ordering process?
Technicians communicate with the Service manager what parts are needed to complete the job. Service manager orders parts.
What is your policy on side work?
Company facilities and tools are not to be used on side work.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
If a Tech comes to me with the desire to continue education we will find something
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We are a relatively young business. As we grow I want my people to grow as well.
Can you describe your performance review process?
We are currently establishing a review schedule.
What type of safety training is required?
None
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We are very family-oriented. If a younger tech needs help I expect the more experienced tech to guide them and teach them in whatever ways they can. While also staying productive themselves.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We support the local schools and sporting events the best we can. As well as own other small businesses in town.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Not currently, but open to options.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
I'd like to meet you in person and shake your hand.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
A sit down with the General Manager and Owner. Simple conversation. tour of the shop.

Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00/year
($24.04 - $36.06/hr)
Pay will be based on experience and on a tiered/hybrid system. Not hourly, Not full flat rate,.
