What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide specialty tools and major equipment. Techs will have to have their own hand tools

Full break room with 4 tables, fridge, microwave, coffee maker

What is your parts ordering process?
Techs order the parts the majority of the time. The advisor will if the car is staying overnight. Parts will be received as soon as possible for technicians to finish repairs

No side work.

Toyota Factory Training. ASE study books onsite and digital ASE Test Reimbursement Toyota Apprenticeship Career Training Program
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Employees have room and opportunity to move up in certifications, and pay. We're always looking to promote from within and advance a techs career for them to achieve their career goals
Can you describe your performance review process?
Every 6 months we sit down and go over hours and shop production. Will also make sure we have them on the career path the tech is hoping for
What type of safety training is required?
KPA safety training classes and policy's.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Mentor works with tech one on one. Showing how to diagnose and repair vehicles when time permits
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We sponsor events in our community
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We speak to graduating classes at our local schools. We also bring them in for tours and bring them in for schoolwork releases
Where do you see the shop in five years?
We're a brand-new facility. We strive to expand our client list, our clients expectations, and put good people around us
Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?
Basic application that takes about 5-minutes to complete
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Light conversation about their driving history for our insurance. We talk about background, tools, and the candidate's career goals
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Interview is done with the shop foreman. We discuss a lot about their history and what they want to achieve and how we can get them there. We also like to get to know them as a person. We end the interview with a shop tour

Background check, drug test, and drivers license

Lube Technician
Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00/hour
Hourly + .25 per ASE / Plus Spiffs
Service Advisor
Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00/year
Base Pay + Spiffs
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00/hour
Flat-rate pay structure, this increases per ASE and will be based on certifications and skill set
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.00/hour
Flat-rate pay structure, pay will be based on certifications, and skill set
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.00/hour
Hourly pay structure until tech is comfortable to move into flat-rate
