Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
We recognize that team members may sometimes feel hesitant to voice their concerns, especially if they worry that doing so could cause conflict or tension with their managers. To help address this, we've developed a program called Team Trust. Each department in our dealership has a designated Team Trust representative. This person serves as a confidential point of contact who other team members can voice their concerns to. Team members can reach out to their representatives to share their concerns, knowing that their feedback will be kept confidential. The representative then brings these concerns to the attention of our CEO and Founder, who works with them to resolve any issues or identify areas of opportunity. By offering this confidential feedback program, we've been able to create an environment where team members feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas without fear of negative consequences. Thanks to input from our team, we've been able to increase team satisfaction through improvements in technology and processes.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes. After reviewing your resume, our hiring team will reach out via phone to assess whether you would be a suitable fit for the position. What do your in-person interviews entail?
We use our in-person interviews as an opportunity to learn more about you and share what it's like to work at United Nissan. Interviews typically last 30-45 minutes, during which we will ask more about your experience and how you handle certain situations. Our goal is to ensure you have the skillset and attitude needed to provide our customers with exceptional care. We also encourage you to come prepared with questions for us so that you can get a better sense of what we're all about. Interviews are a two-way street!
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes, we perform background checks and drug screenings (with consent) for potential hires. Refusal to authorize a background check may be the basis for denial of employment.
