The shop is heated and kept between 65-68 degrees during the winter.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
Our team consists of 8 people.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm. Overtime is available occasionally, but we encourage people to focus on their personal lives outside of work hours.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
The shop provides all tools and diagnostic equipment aside from basic hand tools.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We do not have a formal break room.
How many bays does your shop have?
8 Bays.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
125 RO's per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
The technicians order their parts, with assistance available.
What is your policy on side work?
Sidework can be performed at our facility outside of work hours if a bay is available.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We encourage members of our team to seek further education, and we pay for the classes.

Opportunities over time could include advancing from a mechanic to a senior mechanic or lead technician, taking on additional responsibilities such as training new employees, and becoming a service manager or shop supervisor.

The performance review process typically involves setting goals, evaluating employee progress, providing feedback, and discussing development opportunities.
What type of safety training is required?
OSHA safety training on-site entails educating employees about workplace hazards, safety procedures, and regulations to mitigate risks and ensure a safe work environment.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Younger techs will shadow a more experienced tech until the more experienced tech can assign tasks to the younger tech. The more experienced tech will guide the younger tech through the tasks.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We visit local high schools and will introduce students to the field and answer questions.

Yes, we complete a brief phone call before conducting an in-person interview.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
We typically ask about yourself and try to get an understanding of your abilities. We usually give a shop tour and introduce you to the other members of the team.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $32.00/hour
