Under The Hood

Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Ceiling heaters are installed in between each bay - allow great heat throughout shop No AC however because of doors on both sides the building gets great air flow to keep cooler.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We currently have 5 Technicians, 2 service advisors along with 2 office and Ron (1 of 3 owners) We are looking to add 1-2 technicians and 1 Service Advisor

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The shop is open Monday thru Friday - 7-5 PM. Technicians currently work 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide necessary specialty tools along with several options of Scan tools (2 Snap on scanners, OE Chrysler, GM and Ford, Autel Scan tool) We have 2 tire changers and road Force tire balancer Hunter alignment Machine

What type of break room facility is provided?

Room fits all of our employees equipped with microwave, pizza oven and fridge. There is also a Fridge located in shop if needed (stocked with water)

How many bays does your shop have?

10+ Bays (end bays can fit double vehicles at times)

How many repair orders do you average per month?

250-300

What is your parts ordering process?

Due to the changes in the industry and lack of parts - this changes all the time. Bumper to Bumper is the Main Supplier however certain components we purchase only from the dealer or what we feel is best to avoid comebacks. Most parts are ordered electronically and delivered within 1 hour

What is your policy on side work?

We do not allow side work here at the Shop to be performed. We do allow shop use nights/weekends for personal vehicle. We also give employee discount off labor and offer parts at cost.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Our Shop works as a TEAM - there is no "I" here. Everyone helps everyone as needed and if needed. We have a great group of staff that is a "family" here.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

There are many opportunities for night classes, online training that we support and pay for throughout the year.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We do not put a Title on any of our Technicians - growth is achieved with success.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We due Yearly reviews - discuss the prior year and up coming year in review and goals.

What type of safety training is required?

Safety training is not required however safety discussions are always ongoing.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have a Shop Foreman that works with incoming technicians to train on our tablets and work with younger technicians.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We support many different event local events including charity outings and various youth sport teams.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Both Ron and Scott are on the Board for Madison College Tech Program and Scott is actively involved in the tech program for Marshall and surrounding area

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We have been growing / updating monthly and Yearly to keep up with the changing Industry

We are always open to suggestions and opportunities.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Our application is double sided and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

1st interviews usually take 15-30 minutes gaining a basis of what the applicant is looking to gain. Talk about our processes and procedure along with our benefits.

Timeframe depends on number of applications however 1-5 days at most

As soon as application is received and reviewed you should receive a call with in 24 hours (working days) to set up 1st interview

We try to make it not over whelming and stress free process
