Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Our large shop is equipped with both heat and Porta-cool units

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We currently have 10 Main shop Technicians and some have apprentice's, bringing the main shop tech number to 22 great people!

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Service Department is open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Technicians work between those hours based on the shop needs

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We have a variety of tools available for Technician's way too many to list!

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a training room with tables and microwaves

How many bays does your shop have?

Currently we have 22 busy bays, not including our alignment rack and Quick Lube lifts

How many repair orders do you average per month?

350-400 RO's per Month is the average for our Main Shop

What is your parts ordering process?

We have a wonderful Parts Department that takes great care of us!

What is your policy on side work?

We are a family owned dealership so the atmosphere is more family than your usual corporate dealership!

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer continued hands-on education as well as live courses throughout the year. Courses will be paid for by the dealership

A Technician can grow as much as they are personally motivated to learn! We love to promote from within and are happy to techs on a career path to achieve their goals

Can you describe your performance review process?

We perform annual reviews in our Service Department

What type of safety training is required?

Safety training is provided through Stellantis online courses

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We actively support recruitment of apprentice technicians to work with our Master Techs, developing them into strong and capable future Master Techs!

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Prestige supports and sponsors many local youth sporting leagues, rodeo events, car clubs and other charitable causes.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We do not currently recruit or advertise in high schools, however, we do partner with and hire from local Technical colleges.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Continuing to provide excellent Service, Sales, And Parts experiences to our area and beyond!

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have a standard application form, and we post career openings online accepting resumes via our platforms as well.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Position dependent, but not as a rule

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We take approximately an hour to meet with potential candidates. Discussion includes the candidate's background, certifications, career path, and getting to know them

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We perform screening as needed for the appropriate position

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

We do not. Skill assessment is done through the interview process

Average time after our in person interview for hiring decisions is between a week to two weeks

That process is subjective depending on the position and the applicant

A Level Technician Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00/hour

A Technician at Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Longmont is a full-time, hourly technician position with a great family owned dealership. This individual is responsible for performing skilled diagnostics, accurate repairs and maintenance of vehicles. The A Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing high-quality service and efficient repairs. Compensation & Benefits: The A Technician will receive a competitive flat rate wage commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a savings retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and service.

Lube Technician Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00/hour

The Lube Tech is responsible for the making sure vehicle through Express Lane are properly inspected, oil and filter changes performed accurately and in good time.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hour

B Technician at Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Longmont is a full-time, hourly technician position with a great family owned dealership. This individual is responsible for performing skilled diagnostics, accurate repairs and maintenance of vehicles. The B Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing high-quality service and efficient repairs.
