What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We have a list of specialty and high end tooling that is literally tooo large to upload here. happy to provide a list and discuss. We use tooling from top suppliers such as Snap On, Tigertool, Gray Usa, Challenger etc. Our proudest pieces are our mobile column lifts, fsx dpf processing benches, and stingray rotary washer. If we have it employees have access to it. Our theory is that the job is often plenty difficult that a tech needs the right tools in their corner to complete the task efficiently and safely. We do a great deal of research and talk to techs before making a major investment. When we make a purchase it is the best tool money can buy. Not a cheap knockoff. We try to compensate well enough that people do not need to work a second job to make ends meet. Competitive/conflict of interest side work is not permitted.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

"Everyone wears the same color shirt." What does that mean? It means techs will never take orders from someone who has never pulled a wrench in their life. Founder Caleb started in a fleet environment at age 14 and has never left the field. He still spends as much time as he can on the shop floor.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Yes, we offer continued education. If a tech wishes to pursue a specific certification or class we work with them to make it happen. Tech mentoring is always available in the shop as well.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Our theory is that the employee is the only limiting factor in career growth. They can take control of their career and go as far as they determine both in advancement and compensation. growth isn't limited to a corporate policy.

Can you describe your performance review process?

The employee and founder Caleb have a sit down conversation where things like performance, job satisfaction, and compensation are discussed. This is a bi directional conversation where input and feedback occurs from both sides. We always ask a tech to then place a value on their contribution and we compare thoughts.

What type of safety training is required?

Standard shop familiarization and safety practices are required.

Often an apprentice or trainee will assist senior techs on large jobs both to provide assistance and learn by doing.
