12-15 techs

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop hours are Monday- Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM and Saturday 7:00AM-5:00PM, Shifts vary depending on teams and are 8 hours per day.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

The shop has numerous amounts of Factory Required specialty tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a large break room with Microwave, Refrigerator, and vending machines.

How many bays does your shop have?

36 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1000-1200

What is your parts ordering process?

We have an inhouse parts department.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

All Technicians are issued a MOPAR Student I.D. Number and have access to a variety of virtual, web based, and live classroom, Brand Specific, training. Technicians have the opportunity to advance from Entry Level all the way to Master Technician. All training is paid for, and Technicians are compensated for their training time, and travel, when required.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Landers is committed to promoting from within. All of our Team Leads, Supervisors, Managers, and Owners started as front-line, entry-level employees.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Our management meets with our employees, on a weekly basis, to discuss their performance, and give guidance on how to improve.

What type of safety training is required?

All Technicians are required to complete the Manufacture's Orientation level training.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our shop is divided into technician teams to allow younger technicians to work directly with our more experienced technicians. This 1 on 1 mentoring role allows younger technicians the ability to gain experience on a wide variety of diagnostic and repair work in an apprenticeship type role.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Landers Automotive, as a whole, is extremely involved in every community that they do business in.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Landers is involved with Moore Tech., Southwest community college, and the local high schools in the area.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We would like to continue the growth of current, and future Technicians into the Master Technician Level.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We do a paper application in-house, in person, before the face-to-face interview. The application can take 15-30 minutes to fill out.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We can but will still need a face-to-face interview.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

A detailed explanation of the job, a chance for you to tell us about you and why this job is for you.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Employees must pass a criminal, driving background check, as well as a drug screen.

Flat Rate, based on experience, certifications and skill set

Service Advisor Pay Range: $50.00 - $125.00/year

Parts & Labor Sales plus bonus opportunities

Student Tech / Apprentice Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00/hour
