Under The Hood
Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
Currently, there is no air conditioning, but the shop is insulated which keeps us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Additionally, we have a roof coating that also keeps temperatures down.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
We currently have three technicians, two service advisors, and a facilities and parts coordinator. We also have an in-house bookkeeper and marketing director.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm Lunch is from 11am - Noon
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Tools are provided.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Lunch area, personal desk, refrigerator, snacks, coffee.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

What is your parts ordering process?
Our shop uses a shop management system and all parts are ordered through that. The service advisor orders the necessary parts and works with the parts coordinator and technician for speed an accuracy. Our parts coordinator helps disseminate them and track them.
What is your policy on side work?
Side work would need to be discussed with management. Side work is not discouraged unless it is interfering with your responsibilities at Harrell & Beverly.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We have fun! We laugh, we joke, we create long-lasting relationships. We care. We WANT you to succeed! We plan social outings and for our 65th anniversary we took the team and their families on an all expenses paid 7 day cruise!

To celebrate the incredible 65 year journey of Harrell & Beverly Transmissions & Auto Repair, we treated our dedicated team and their families to a week-long cruise. It was a time filled with relaxation, fun, and building stronger bonds that will drive us forward for another 65 years!
