All tool needs to do the job. This includes all manufacture specialty tools, and major equipment

Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table, chairs

What is your parts ordering process?
Parts request are sent through Xtime and picked up at the parts counter.
What is your policy on side work?
No side work allowed in the shop, Techs are allowed to work on their own cars after hours but must be done by the time Sales leaves at 8:00pm
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We will be moving into a brand new building in 2025 that will have state-of-the-art equipment and lifts. Also will have 5 express bays.

Yes
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We promote within and all lube techs will move up to an apprenticeship as time allows which will lead into becoming a master trained Kia Tech.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance reviews are done every 90 days. We will go over what the employee did well that year, what they can work on, and make sure we're working toward their career goals
What type of safety training is required?
We provide periodic in-house training
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
New techs work right along with other techs in their dept. until such time they are comfortable doing the job on their own. When they master express they will then get the chance to move up to the main shop as an apprentice working and learning from a master tech and going out for Kia training.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We are sponsors of CSU and we are always doing interesting events in the community.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
In shop and outside class training to get everyone who wants to be a master tech.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
We do a light phone screen to gauge the interest of the candidate and find out some basic information
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Interviewing with the service manager and GM. Discussion includes the candidate's background, certifications, skill set, career path, and getting to about them

Yes

No formal skill assessment. Assessment is done through interview process
