9 technicians(includes 2 lube techs) , 2 service writers, 2 warranty clerks , 1 service director

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

7:30 am - 5:00 pm (MONDAY - FRIDAY) NOT OPEN ON SATURDAYS

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All OEM specialty tools are provided along with other required tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

Break room is provided just for technicians. Normal amenities fridge, microwave, table, chairs, coffee maker

How many bays does your shop have?

18 bays, 12 lifts

How many repair orders do you average per month?

800-1000

What is your parts ordering process?

Service writer orders parts from the parts dept after tech provides quotes. Parts will be received as soon as possible for technicians to complete repairs

What is your policy on side work?

No side work in our shop is allowed.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Everyone gets along well in our shop and provides help to each other.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Absolutely, all training is paid for by the company and all expenses are reimbursed. All OEM classes are required and mandated by the store

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

As a technician constant pay improvement and career advancement are offered.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Semi-annual review with the service director and owner. Both the owner and service director are very involved in the store so constant communication and accessibility are available with the owner.

What type of safety training is required?

Osha requirements are followed along with individual company policies.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Full support and involvement with the younger techs. When younger techs are not busy they are encouraged and recommended to assist the senior techs in completing jobs.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Very involved with the local church, sports, and civic groups in the area.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Local schools are given the opportunity to enroll in GM and Chrysler school free of charge to the student.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

Very close family group at this store. Everyone gets along and helps one another.

We prefer in-person, but if the applicant would prefer to talk to us by phone first we are always available

General questions about knowledge, experience, family, and getting to know the candidate as a person

We perform background checks, driving records, and credit checks. We do not do personality checks.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

Assessment done during interviews. We review experience and trainings completed.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

1-3 days at the max.

3-5 days once we receive the application.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00/hour

Hourly bonus is paid on hours earned after .2 dollars per hour after 78 hours,2 dollars more per 82 hours, 2 dollars more after 88 hours, and 2 dollars more after 92 hours earned.

C Level Technician Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.00/hour

Hourly bonus is paid on hours earned after .2 dollars per hour after 78 hours,2 dollars more per 82 hours, 2 dollars more after 88 hours, and 2 dollars more after 92 hours earned.

A Level Technician Pay Range: $35.00 - $55.00/hour

Hourly bonus is paid on hours earned after .2 dollars per hour after 78 hours,2 dollars more per 82 hours, 2 dollars more after 88 hours, and 2 dollars more after 92 hours earned.

Service Advisor Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00/year

Bonus on hours sold.

Lube Technician Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00/hour

Bonus on jobs sold and services sold
