3 Technicians 1 Apprentice 1 Service Manager 1 Service Advisor

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

7:30am-5:30pm (Monday-Friday) NO WEEKENDS!!!!

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide most factory scan tools, and aftermarket scan tools, all major equipment, and if tools need to be purchased we will buy

What type of break room facility is provided?

No set break room. Technicians usually go out to eat, or find a designated spot

How many bays does your shop have?

8 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

200

What is your parts ordering process?

Service advisor writes up the order and orders parts. Parts will be received as soon as possible for technicians to complete their job

What is your policy on side work?

Techs can work on their own personal vehicles, and spouses or significant other's vehicle. Another team member will have to be present in case of injury. Parts can be purchased at 10% over cost

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We provide a teamwork environment. All techs work together to come up with solutions, along with our service manager if needed

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

If training opportunities come up, we're happy to pay for them. This includes in-person trainings or online programs. These are not mandatory, but is available for any techs interested

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

There's always room to grow in this industry for the right technicians. We will provide the training and career path for technicians to achieve their career goals.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Nothing formal. If technicians want to review anything, or something comes up, we're happy to discuss

What type of safety training is required?

Safety training is only mandatory for hybrid work so technicians know how to deal with the batteries

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

This is a team work atmosphere. Experieced technicians will be available to answer questions, and work side-by-side when time permits

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Currently, we work with Monona Grove and McFarland programs

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

Willing to do whatever it takes for techs to achieve career goals

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Depends on the situation. If the candidate isn't local, or doesn't have the time to come in we'll begin with a phone screen. Candidate will need to do a face-to-face before they are hired

What do your in-person interviews entail?

The owner and the Service Manager takes care of the interviews. Discussion includes their experience, driving ability, skill set, and what areas of the business they like and dislike

Shop Helper Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00/hour

Hourly paid position

A Level Technician Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00/year

Flat-rate pay structure, based on three different levels of pay based on hours hit

B Level Technician Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00/year

Flat-rate pay structure, based on three different levels of pay based on hours hit

Student Tech / Apprentice Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

Hourly paid position

C Level Technician Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00/hour

Hourly paid position with the option to move into a flat-rate position
