What is your parts ordering process?
We have an active parts dept strictly for our workshop and technicians. We have another parts retail counter strictly for other departments and customers.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Yes! We offer onsite training, OEM training, pay for certifications as well as sent our Technicians for opportunities for paid off-site trainings. We also offer educational opportunities, through our MileOne benefits program, for our Technicians families with our MileOne Scholarship program.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We take career growth seriously and we value promoting from within. You will work closely with your Shop Foreman and Service Manager to create a learning plan to identify areas of opportunity and an individualized development plan to get where you want to be. You will have consistent meetings to ensure you are on the right track to get you to your goal.
Can you describe your performance review process?
We do formal performance reviews every year, but feel that more frequent informal meetings increase transparency and understanding for both our employees and management. We want to hear from you! We want you to hear from us! Everyone within our shop will be in the "know".
What type of safety training is required?
We take safety seriously and maintain the highest level compliance. We require all of the safety training.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Our shop works on teams consists of Technicians with all levels of experience. All Technicians work together to troubleshoot and learn from each other. We have a tenured Technician team who enjoy mentorship - they enjoy working with Technicians who want to learn and grow. Training and mentoring is a CORE fundamental of why our shop is different than other locations.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We are very active with local technical schools both at the high school and trade school level. We participate in advisory boards, job fairs, lunch & learns, site tours as well as donate parts and cars to the schools.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes, it's important for us to phone interview candidates to ensure any general questions are answered.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Meeting with the following people: Service & Parts Director Shop Foreman General Manager As well as a tour of the facility including the service, parts and sales departments. It is important for our team to understand how everyone works together to ensure a high preforming and autonomous team.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
We conduct a background and drug test. Additionally, we do require a driving record review with no more than 2 moving violations. We do not do personality testing.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
Not at this time, however, we do verify any provided accreditations as well as review any customer service reviews.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
The full hiring process is dependent on the candidate and needs of the business. The could be anywhere between 24 hours - 30 days.

Audi Technician
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hour

- Health Insurance Offered
- MileOne offers three medical options through UnitedHealthcare. All plans include prescription drug coverage and they cover essential preventive care at no cost to you when you visit in-network providers. We have 3 plans to choose from - - Plan 1 (Low Deductible) - Plan 2 (High Deductible) - PPO Plan Options 1 and 2 are High-Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs), which can be a good fit if you expect minimal healthcare expenses and want to save pre-tax dollars using a HSA. HSA: • If you enroll in medical plan Option 1 or Option 2, MileOne will contribute $300 (individual) or $600 (family) annually to your HSA to help you build your savings! You contribute to your HSA through payroll deductions. • HSA funds become available as you contribute. MileOne contributions are made as a lump sum payment as soon as your account number is available. • You can use the funds in your HSA to pay for office visits, lab tests, prescriptions, dental and vision care, and even some drugstore items for yourself and your tax dependents. • You must elect the HSA during enrollment and make a contribution to receive the contribution from MileOne. • You must be enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), like Option 1 or Option 2, to be eligible. Plan Option 3 is a PPO and offers more predictable costs if you need more frequent care. The PPO plan offers flat-dollar copays for office visits, urgent care, prescription drugs and some other healthcare services. These copays count towards both the annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. Instead of meeting your deductible before the plan pays its share (coinsurance), you pay copays when you need some types of care. The plan also covers in-network preventive care at no cost to you and has coinsurance after the deductible for the types of care that don’t have copays. The following chart compares the basic features of the three plans.
- Dental Insurance Offered
- Our dental coverage, offered through UnitedHealthcare, provides cleanings, exams and x-rays. If there is a problem, your plan will help with the cost of dental work. Our plan includes coverage for both in-network and out-of-network providers, although you’ll save money by staying in-network.
- Vision Insurance Offered
- Vision coverage helps with the cost of eyeglasses or contacts. Even if you do not need vision correction, an annual eye exam checks the health of your eyes and can even detect more serious health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and thyroid disease. We offer vision coverage through Davis Vision. Our plan includes coverage for both in-network and out-of-network providers, although you’ll save money by staying in-network.
- Retirement Plan Offered
- MileOne offers two plans to help you save for retirement. The Traditional 401(k) is pre-taxed while the Roth 401(k) is after-taxed. Both plans offer the convenience of contributing through automatic payroll deductions. MileOne’s 401(k) plans are administered by Empower.

- PTO is granted at each anniversary year. PTO can be utilized for any type of employee absence including vacation, sick, or personal time. - ST / LT Disability Offered
- Disability benefits help replace a portion of your income if you are unable to work because of a non-work related illness or injury. These benefits are provided by UnitedHealthcare. We offer two STD options with the maximum benefit period of 13 weeks or 26 weeks.
- Life Insurance Offered
- Life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance through UnitedHealthcare helps protect your dependents’ financial security against the unexpected. Basic Life and AD&D MileOne provides full-time employees with a basic life and AD&D insurance benefit of one times your annual salary up to a maximum value as determined by one’s position. This benefit is provided at no cost to you. The amount of your basic life benefit will reduce when you turn age 65. If your death is an accident, your beneficiary will receive an additional one times your basic life insurance amount. For an accidental dismemberment, your benefit is a portion of your accidental death benefit. Voluntary Life and AD&D Full-time employees are eligible to purchase voluntary life and voluntary AD&D benefits through UnitedHealthcare for yourself and your dependents. • You pay the entire cost at group rates on an after-tax basis. • Rates are based on your age. • You must be enrolled in voluntary life to enroll your spouse or child(ren) in this coverage.
