Yearly performance review. The review includes discussions about the things they did well in prior year, what they can improve on, how we can help them improve, and what the goals are for the next year

Various online KPA training
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We have a diagnostic training team and we also pair technicians with master technicians. They will be available to answer questions, and work side-by-side when time permits
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We sponsor local high school career development programs
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We do job fairs and work with local career development programs

Yes, online application that takes 10 minutes to complete

Light phone screen to gage the candidate's interest level, and a brief talk about background and skill set
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Interview is done with the Service Manager, GM, and shop foreman. Discussion includes the candidate's background, certifications, skill set, and career goals. A shop tour is also included
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes to all

No formal skill assessment. Skill set is determined through the interview process
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
We proceed with the background and drug test after the in-person interview and if everything comes back good, we reach out immediately
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00/year

Lube Technician
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour
