Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Techs operate with two shifts during the week: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Audi specialty tools are provided.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have two spacious break rooms equipped with a big-screen TV, microwave, oven, vending machines, and a refrigerator.
How many bays does your shop have?
We have 36 bays.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We average between 1,600 to 1,750 repair orders per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
Parts are ordered through MyKarma directly from each technician's bay. The parts department delivers the required parts to the technician.
What is your policy on side work?
Side work is not allowed; however, technicians may work on immediate family vehicles with prior permission from the supervisor.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Yes, our pay plans are structured to support ongoing education and training. Technicians receive pay increases as they advance through manufacturer training. After the first 90 days, technicians are eligible to request enrollment in formal training programs.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We strongly believe in promoting from within. We’re always looking to advance team members who demonstrate growth, leadership, and dedication.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Technicians receive a formal “Level-Up” review every 6 to 12 months. This review is conducted jointly by management and the technician to evaluate progress, discuss goals, and identify opportunities for advancement.
What type of safety training is required?
All required safety training is managed through KPA. We conduct monthly audits to ensure every technician is current on their safety requirements.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We use a structured mentorship system through our Technician Team Lead and Apprentice Program. New technicians are paired with experienced mentors, and a performance review is conducted after six months to assess progress and development.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We collaborate with the Arlington Career Center and community organizations to support local charities and outreach initiatives.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Yes, we partner with UTI for High School Nights, inviting students into the shop to gain firsthand experience and insight into the industry.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes, we conduct phone screens prior to scheduling in-person interviews.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Our in-person hiring process involves two stages. The first interview is with the Director, followed by a second interview with the Service Manager and Production Manager.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes, we perform both background checks and drug screenings. Personality tests are not required.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
No, we do not conduct formal skill assessments as part of the hiring process.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
You can expect to hear back within 4–5 business days, which allows time for the background check and drug screening results. We then send out either an offer or a rejection letter.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
The full process typically takes around 2 weeks from the time the application is submitted to when a hiring decision is made.
