Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
When you join us as a Field Service Technician, we provide a well-maintained Company Van with climate controls, but the work environment varies depending on the customer's site where you are performing maintenance or repairs. Our shop environment is heated in the winter months.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
We have 600 Team Members across 8 states. Our average sized Field Service Team consists of 15 Technicians.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
We have 2 schedules available for our Field Service and Shop Technicians. Either 5, 8-Hour shifts M-F 7AM-3:30PM OR 4, 10-Hour shifts M-F (6AM-4:30PM) with a rotating weekday off. We are flexible with start and stop times to accommodate you to the best of our ability.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We have a generous Tool Program for new Technicians. We provide Milwaukee, Gear Wrench, Fluke meters, and other high quality tools. Additionally uniforms, laundry service, annual safety boot allowance ($200), and all PPE provided. Our Field Service Technicians are provided with a Company Van (Typically Ford Transit High-Roof, Short Wheel Base), company laptop and cell phone. Vans are upfitted with custom storage, a ramp for easy access, and a expense card for vehicle related expenses (Gas, maintenance, etc.)
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a breakroom with refrigerator, ice maker (pellet), microwaves, TV, vending machines, free coffee.
How many bays does your shop have?
We operate differently than a traditional auto shop, and have many different bays for different types of work.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
2,000+
What is your parts ordering process?
Parts are ordered via company provided software.
What is your policy on side work?
We don't have a policy regarding side work.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We have an industrial overhead crane and state-of-the-art tools and equipment.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We offer initial training of 90+ Days + Ongoing training for each model of Forklift, automation products, robotics, VLMs, and much more. Our parent company is the manufacturer of the Forklifts we sell and service, so we have access to an on-staff factory trainer!
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Our Field Service Teams are structured as Field Service Manager > Field Service Technician Level Team Lead > Scheduled Maintenance Field Trainer > Field Service Technician Level III > Field Service Technician Level II > Field Service Technician > Scheduled Maintenance Technician All of our current Field Service Managers started their Careers with us as Technicians and we exclusively promote from within for these roles.
Can you describe your performance review process?
We conduct and annual performance review that is based upon whether the Team Member demonstrated alignment with our Core Values throughout the year.
What type of safety training is required?
We will provide all necessary safety training.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Each Team has a designated Field Trainer and Team Leader who are responsible for mentoring new technicians.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We donate both our resources and time to charitable organizations in each of the communities that we serve.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We partner with many Technical Schools, participate in Advisory Boards, Give on-campus talks to educate students about our industry, and seek out opportunities to educate young people.
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
All of our current Field Service Managers started with us as Technicians. We only promote from within because we understand Managers that have done the job of the Team their leading, provide productive expectations and better support.

We perform a 4-panel drug test (No THC), Background Check, & Driving Record Check
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
We perform a verbal skills assessment to determine technical ability.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
We typically make a decision within 2-5 business days after the interview.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Typically 1-2 weeks.
