All technicians are expected to have their own tools and toolboxes, the shop provides some of the larger tools.

There is a lunchroom on-site with a refrigerator and microwave.

What type of safety training is required?
Aim provides new employees with many training resources and tools including videos, hands on demonstrations, and different safety certifications. In 2024, this shop was recognized for being over 2 years injury-free due to their incredible safety precautions!
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
At Aim, our techs promote continuous learning and mentorship through collaboration, as we believe knowledge sharing is key to individual and team growth. This is demonstrated through hands-on training, workshops, cross-training opportunities and so much more. By fostering this collaborative environment, we ensure that everyone at Aim has the skills and knowledge to succeed and positively contribute to our team.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
Aim is deeply committed to supporting the communities surrounding our shops in a variety of meaningful ways. Some organizations that we work closely with are United Way, the annual Panerathon walk/run in the fight against breast cancer, and our local Regional Chambers, just to name a few! We are committed to making a positive impact in the community and remain open to supporting new initiatives.

Yes, we partner with local technical schools to offer hands-on experience and training, preparing students for careers in the field and potential opportunities at our shops. We’re always open to new ways to encourage more students to enter the workforce.

Yes, you must complete an application and phone interview with the recruiter before attending an in-person interview at the shop with the Service Manager.

During in-person interviews, we focus on discussing your past job experiences, giving you the chance to share your skills and accomplishments.

We perform background checks and drug screenings on each applicant as part of the preemployment screening process to ensure a safe and secure work environment.

We do not perform a skill assessment. Your in-person interview will give you the opportunity to share your skills and accomplishments.

Diesel Mechanic
Pay Range: $27.00 - $31.00/year
Pay is dependent on experience.
