A Level Technician
To provide the highest quality maintenance and repair service while upholding the highest levels of integrity at all times. The A Technician must have the ability to clearly communicate the work needed and their recommendations to the Service Writer. They must be able to work under pressure and strive for constant growth and improvement of their skills. This individual must be able to lift 50 lbs. over their head. The A Technician reports to the Service Manager and Shop Foreman.
Areas of Responsibilities
The A Technician is responsible for performing all Maintenance and Repair Services as well as a thorough Vehicle Health Inspection. The Technician must also be able to perform Oil Changes, State Inspections, Tire Service and Advanced Mechanical and Electrical Diagnostics. When needed the Technician will assist other Technicians in the Shop or anything the Service Department needs help with. The Technician will also fill in when the Foreman is off.
The A Technician must be able to follow all safety procedures for shop equipment. This individual must be able to follow all written processes and verbal instruction. This individual must have the ability to pay attention to the smallest details. They must be able to use a computer and tablet. They must have and retain their Massachusetts State Inspector’s License and Driver’s License.
The A Technician is expected to peruse educational opportunities to advance their skill set. They are required to obtain and retain ASE Master & Advanced Level Certifications. The A Technician is required to be ASE Master Certified in no more than 2 years if they are not currently certified. They are required to peruse Advance Level Certification Immediately after receiving Master Certification. This individual must be a self-motivated, goal-oriented team player.
